Preparing for marriage

About this programme
Planning a wedding leaves little time to plan a marriage. Preparing for marriage gives you space to talk about what comes after the wedding day, while it’s still easy to talk about.
Pastor Victor has led premarital counselling for many couples. Together you’ll look at your expectations, money, family, faith, conflict and intimacy, and the Bible’s picture of marriage as a covenant.
The sessions may bring up things you hadn’t thought to discuss. It’s far easier to talk them through now than in the first hard year of marriage.
It may be right for you if
- You’re engaged or planning to marry in the next year or so
- You come from different cultures or church backgrounds
- One or both of you has been married before
- Your church has asked you to do marriage preparation
What the sessions cover
- 01What you each expect from marriage
- 02Money, decisions and work
- 03Family, in-laws and culture
- 04Handling conflict well
- 05Faith, intimacy and children
